👀 And we’re back in the bathroom… but definitely NOT the boring 1990s bathroom we started with! 😂
Another room from this absolutely stunning apartment project — this time, the en-suite to one of those amazing bedrooms. 🛁✨

The old bathroom was very much giving 1990s… white furniture, white/grey tiles, built-in units and a very uninspiring shower with a curtain. 👀

So, first things first… EVERYTHING OUT! 💪🏻💥

We stripped it right back to the bare bones, removed the bath, moved the toilet and sink round, re-piped the system and created a brand-new walk-in shower.

The lads JW&Sons then boarded and plastered everything ready for the fun to begin!

And as with every room in this apartment, the customer knew exactly what she wanted. 👌

💙 MULTIPANEL on all walls in a gorgeous blue to tie in with the bedroom
💙 Ceiling & door in Stone Blue
✨ Brushed brass shower riser, shower screen trim, tap & towel radiator
🖤 A touch of anthracite on the radiator and shower tray
🪨 And those crazy patterned floor tiles fitted by nigelbyromthefamilyfurnisher

But then came the quirky bits… 😍

🧜‍♀️ Swimmers on the walls
🪵 An old-fashioned sink unit
🦈 And yes… a SHARK toilet roll holder! 🫣😂

Because why have a normal bathroom when you can have one with swimmers, sharks and a whole lot of personality?!

We absolutely loved bringing this one to life. It’s bold, quirky, a little bit bonkers… and it fits the apartment perfectly.

1990s bathroom ➡️ quirky little luxury retreat.

And honestly… this apartment just keeps getting better! 👀🔥

👀👀 Well, where do we even start with this one?! Another room in this stunning apartment.😍✨

From a dated, old-fashioned bedroom to something that most of us can only dream of! 🤩

Now, when a customer tells you they want a GOLD BATH in their bedroom, overlooking Lake Windermere, what exactly are you supposed to say? 😂

Well, you just make it happen! 👌

We carried on the gorgeous panelling theme from the rest of the apartment, but this room definitely takes things to another level! 🔥

🎨 Ciao Sofia colour-drenched across the walls and ceiling.

💜 Mauve on all the panelling, bedroom and cupboard doors, and woodwork.

🔥 New anthracite radiator, some stunning new light fittings and new carpet fitted by nigelbyromthefamilyfurnisher to finish everything off.

And, of course, the pièce de résistance… 🛁✨ THAT GOLD BATH! Looking straight out over the beautiful views of Windermere. 😍

A little bit of luxury, a whole lot of personality and the perfect place to escape, unwind and enjoy some well-deserved me time. 🥂

You know what? Sometimes you just have to trust the customer’s vision… and this one has absolutely nailed it! 💜

A bedroom fit for a queen, with a view to match! 👑

And just when you think this apartment can’t get any more spectacular… there’s still more to come! 👀🔥

👀👀 Another little sneak peek at this seriously funky apartment! And this time, it’s the hallway and bedroom 1! 😍

Gone are the boring yellow walls and plain white doors. These rooms have had a complete makeover, and we’re certainly not doing boring on this job! 😂

We stripped everything right back to bare walls and floors before adding some gorgeous panelling throughout the hallway and a matching feature panel wall in the bedroom. 👌

And, of course, our customer knew EXACTLY what she wanted when it came to the colours! 🎨

💚 Pigeon on the bedroom walls, ceiling and doors, paired with Stone Blue panelling and window frames.

💙 The hallway got the Pigeon treatment on the panelling and woodwork, with Ciao Sofia on the walls & Ceiling.

🔥 To finish things off, the lads from added gorgeous new anthracite column radiators to both rooms and the lads from nigelbyromthefamilyfurnisher laid fresh carpets throughout.

From yellow walls and white doors to bold colours, beautiful panelling and loads of character. What a difference! 🤩

Every room in this apartment has its own personality, and we’re absolutely loving bringing it all together.

And honestly… I CAN’T WAIT for you to see the rest of this place! 👀🔥

👀👀 Another one from this incredible apartment… and this room might just be our favourite yet!

What started as a really tired, old-fashioned living room has been transformed into exactly what the customer wanted — a space full of memories, personality and a few VERY cool surprises. 😍

We stripped it right back to the bare walls before adding updated panelling, new light fittings and a stunning centrepiece glass chandelier. ✨

But the real showstopper?

🇮🇹 VENICE! 🇮🇹

A full mural of her favourite place, turning the room into somewhere she can sit back and reminisce about her favourite memories while looking out over her own view of Lake Windermere ❤️

And then came the slightly more unusual request…

The lads at JW & Sons Plastering & Building cut back the chimney breast, re-plastered it and made room for a pink ‘potato oven’! 😂🔥

It matches the kitchen oven perfectly and, let’s be honest, it looks VERY cool.

🎨 Walls — Mauve Mist
🎨 Ceiling & TV wall — Ciao Sofia
🪵 Flooring — real oak, fitted by the lads

And that oak floor absolutely finishes it off, bringing everything together and making the whole room POP!

We genuinely loved doing this one because it was so different. It’s got colour, character, memories and personality — and most importantly, it’s completely the customer.

And this apartment?

Absolutely out of this world. 🌎✨

We’re not done yet though… 👀
There’s plenty more to show you!

Another little transformation from this job… and this one is all about the vibes! 🎶🎮

With these dated rooms, the old carpets were ripped out and we went all in with a proper colour drench, covering both rooms in Farrow & Ball Stone Blue — with the window frames in Mauve Mist. 🥰
New anthracite column radiators put right through this property. 👀

Then the lads from nigelbyromthefamilyfurnisher got stuck into laying the solid oak flooring, which really brought the whole thing together. 👌

And this is where the customer added her own magic… ✨

The result? A seriously cosy snug / games room for the lads, which doubles up as a music room for the weekend. 🎸🍻

From tired carpets and bare rooms to somewhere you actually want to hang out…

Now that’s what we call a transformation! 😎

And yes… there’s definitely going to be some noise coming from this room. 😂🎶

15/09/2026

🚨 WARNING: This kitchen is NOT beige. 🚨😂

Things are getting seriously funky on this job, so we’re kicking things off with the kitchen… and what a transformation!

This was a full rip-out — old kitchen OUT, everything off the walls, and a brand-new window fitted by Ryan Smith Joinery to make the most of that gorgeous lake view. 🌊

Then came the messy bit… walls re-plastered by JW&Sons ceiling sorted and finally, the new kitchen went in. 👌

But then we hit a slight problem…

The client wasn’t exactly “wowed” by the colour. 😬

So… she chose her own! And fair play to her, because she absolutely knew the look she wanted.

🎨 Ciao Sofia on the walls and ceiling
💜 Mauve feature wall
🍬 And lampshades with their very own Liquorice Allsorts moment!

Colour? ✔️
Personality? ✔️
Lake view? ✔️
Playing it safe? Absolutely not. 😂

And honestly… we’re here for it.

This is definitely one kitchen that won’t be blending into the background anytime soon!

More of this seriously funky job coming soon… 👀

Always nice to help and support the local football team. Thanks to Dan and the lads 🩵

Good old English weather so it’s been a nice busy couple of days indoors thankfully. Customers were looking to brighten the ceilings up in the lodge as they were originally wallpapered and looking a little tired and worse for wear. Cladded the ceilings in a Tongue & Grove UPVC. Easy maintenance and should last a lifetime. Customer is very pleased with the outcome and look

Got back off holiday in time to finish off these fences and gates at the local school just in time for all the little ones returning. The school got in touch few weeks back and wanted some extra security around the school to help keep the children safe and away from danger zones. Obviously I had a ‘summer holiday’ window to get this work complete and with a bit of help over the last week we managed to get it all sorted.
