HOUSE TOUR, part 4... The Primary Suite...

Back to our luxury rental reveal, step inside the Primary Suite—the centrepiece of the first floor, showcasing the main feature of this home - the incredible countryside views.

When designing this primary bedroom and ensuite, the goal was to create a timeless, yet contemporary space that highlighted the architectural details and feeling of space, without blowing the budget.

Every detail is considered. The high-end feel for this property is captured by spending on luxury materials and pieces in the right places.

Inside the Suite:

✨ Architectural Drama: A bold, statement light hangs from the soaring pitched ceiling

✨ Tactile Warmth: We layered tactile linens, warm neutrals and terracotta tones, brass finishes and a bespoke oversized velvet headboard to play on that sense of grandeur.

✨ Boutique Ensuite: Real marble tiles that cleverly mix checkerboard, soldier and herringbone lay, all play together to create something from the norm, all finished with a marble trim. The bespoke mirror fits perfectly within the space, bringing focus to the free-standing bath and reflecting the natural light that comes flooding in from the bedroom.

Proof that primary suites can feel grand, minimal, modern and calming, all at once.

💬 Design Dilemma: Where are you spending your Sunday morning—curled up in bed taking in the view, or soaking in that freestanding tub?

HOUSE TOUR, Part 2

Using a palette of warm neutrals and a mix of textures creates a homely, contemporary and serene space.

Leather, raffia, wood, boucle, earthenwear ceramics and marble-esque quartz sit in harmony together giving a quiet sense of luxury.

HOUSE TOUR, Part 1

Come inside and see the end result of a 6 month collaboration with a forward-thinking architect, a dynamic built team and some very trusting clients.

As part of an impressive re-model and renovation, the brief was to create a modern space, appropriate for young-professionals to rent. A time-less, yet contemporary home with all the luxury feels that are made to last.

The piece that pulled it all together.

The final part of the puzzle for this Georgian farmhouse drawing room was our bespoke ottoman, hand-crafted in England, using a beautiful jacquard stripe.

When the ottoman was put in place, the room felt complete.

The soft blue complements the sage green, mustard, and pink within the room. The stripe contrast perfectly with the floral in the drapes.

GEORGIAN FARMHOUSE
The Drawing Room

With a curated mix of family heirloom furniture and paintings, newly sourced antiques, bespoke made pieces and period appropriate modern finds, this room is beautifully finished.

A stunning mirror above the fireplace reflects the antique crystal chandeliers found in Hay on Wye.

Several pieces from in Bridgnorth blend into this historic room.

A custom made ottoman, in stripe jacquard, draws on the blue in the antique ship painting that was one of the first things I sourced, from Hastings, when this property was still a building site.

A stunning bespoke colour on the walls by , is the perfect, delicate pink backdrop to this formal yet homely room.

Pops of mustard in soft furnishings and custom made lampshades, in , sit beautifully on top of two antique lampstands that I found for £50!

There are still a few things left to do, but for now, it's pretty perfect.

THE OLD HOSPITAL - Before & After - Home Studio

The brief : To create a tranquil and inviting space in which to concentrate and be creative.

Rich and earthy colours create a calm and cocooning environment. The mix of antique furniture and contemporary pieces ooze style.

Choosing pieces that aren't typically found in an office but still offer functionality, make this space a beautiful room in its own right, that blends with the rest of the house.

This room is now a unique, yet appealing and relaxing place to be.
