✨A new chapter✨

Avenue Furnishings is now Sandlin Soft Furnishings.

As my business has grown, I've taken the exciting step to become a limited company - and with that comes a new name that better reflects the work I love to do.

While the name has changed, everything else remains the same - the same care, quality, and personal service.

Each piece is meticulously hand sewn with care 🤍
In this video, I’m making a small Roman blind—and definitely getting my steps in as I work my way around the table!

I use three layers of fabric and lining to create structure, stability, and beautiful fullness. This is what gives each blind that luxurious, tailored finish.

Every layer is hand sewn so each stitch remains completely invisible. Nothing distracts from the real star of the show—your fabric ✨

If only I could sew this fast in real life! ✨✨✨

So lovely to work on this beautiful project alongside the wonderful 🤍

Our lovely clients were looking for a cosy, calm and neutral scheme with plenty of texture — always a favourite of mine. We used a mix of soft linens, neutral tones and delicate embroidered details, incorporating a range of stunning fabrics.

The finished space features made-to-measure roman blinds, interlined curtains and elegant French poles, all carefully designed.

Every curtain and blind is handmade to measure in my home studio here in Malvern, Worcestershire.
