Our first frameless, mixed wood clock! 👀

The hands need changing but we love the warm tones of the wood types in this one, mixing some traditional species with some exotic African hardwoods.

The clock markings are circular inlays of darker wood types to add contrast, all hand cut, and the whole thing sanded to a super smooth 3,000 grit to make it shimmer in the sunlight ☀️✨

Another piece that will be coming to the Best of West Dorset event at Mapperton House, Gardens & Wildlands this Sunday & Monday.

A dense South African hardwood that is perfect for small, delicate pieces.

This adorable little guy will be coming to our next market this weekend, with some other new stock. We'll be at Mapperton House, Gardens & Wildlands on Sunday 3rd & Monday 4th May for their Best of West Dorset event - we can't wait!

This bespoke clock was delivered to its beautiful new home on Saturday. Look at those wavy grains and knotty spalted pieces 😍

We worked with the customer on their preferred wood types and tones to offer some suggested combinations and we think their final choice looked stunning.

Sapele was used to tie in the red bricks of the wall it will be placed on. The heavily figured alder and bubinga woods gave it character. Then ash, being lighter and warmer in colour, brought everything together.
