From block of wood to bespoke wooden owl. This was ordered for a birthday gift and we're told the recipient was very pleased 🦉🤎

Tool-wise, I'm not really geared up for carving but I gave it a good go and enjoyed the challenge of creating something completely different.

This chunky piece of beech was cut on the band saw, then hand tools were used for shape and definition. After a lot of hand sanding, it was oiled and waxed to bring out the wood's natural warmth and ebony was used for the eye detail.

We're combining a custom clock delivery with a coastal walk today 🌊☀️

This striking combination of zebrano, ash, oak and black limba woods was chosen by our lovely customers for a wall in their stunning 16th century farmhouse. It's always a pleasure to see our creations in their new homes.

On to Hooken Cliffs now as we couldn't deliver so close to a seaside town without enjoying the coastal path.

Celebrating one whole year of TomFoolery Woodcrafts (and, coincidentally, two whole years of us) 🥂🎉

We've met some wonderful customers and fellow traders and we've learned so much over the last twelve months. We can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us and will be kicking things off with a new market tomorrow.

Made from ash, walnut and beech, with a clear grip tape top.
