Fresh Peach Fritters 🍑✨
Ingredients:
For the Fritters:
1½ cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
⅔ cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp melted butter
1½ cups peeled & diced fresh peaches
Oil for frying
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
1️⃣ Make Batter:
Whisk dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon) in a bowl.
In another bowl, mix wet ingredients (milk, eggs, vanilla, butter).
Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir until just mixed. Fold in peaches gently.
2️⃣ Fry to Perfection:
Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Drop 2-tbsp scoops of batter into oil (4-5 at a time). Fry 2-3 mins per side until golden.
Drain on paper towels.
3️⃣ Glaze & Serve:
Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over warm fritters.
