I’m Anna, an artist and a writer with a passion for creativity. I grew up in a small town in northern Greece called Didimoteicho (go ahead, Google it!). In 2008, I made the big move to Athens to study History and Theory of Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts, and I’ve called this vibrant city home ever since—except for a fun two-year stint working in restaurants on the stunning island of Rhodes
. In 2021, I founded mural.gr, originally offering mural services, while also juggling my role as an SEO writer for various Greek websites. I’ve always been a "child of the arts." Growing up, I filled my room with murals (much to my parents’ dismay at first!) and took art classes from a young age. A couple of years ago, I pursued a master's degree in virtual environment design and aced all my classes—but I never submitted my thesis because, well, life happened. So yes, I’m technically a dropout, but I walked away with valuable skills in creating virtual art spaces. However, I quickly realized that virtual just wasn’t my thing. I craved real spaces, filled with living, breathing art and human connection. That’s where my soul truly comes alive. After some reflection, I decided it was time to bring my passion for art into the real world. I launched mural workshops and creative gatherings in my off-beat, cozy neighborhood in the heart of Athens. To help people connect through art and self-expression, and to let go of the limiting beliefs we have about our homes and businesses.
