I live and work in Mytilene. I love the colors and painting since I was a young child, and it has always been obvious that I would deal with them in the future. I started working with painting on the glass because it has always been fascinated to it as a material. Through this combination of glass objects and colors, I made my own glass world and I put all my dreams, drawings and worries in
them. I have been dealing With painting since I was a little kid. The brushes have always been the extension of my hand. Colors and patterns have always been the way to express myself. My feelings have been imprinted on the glass in a unique way. I paint on glasses of all sizes and shapes, modern and old ones of mom and grandmother ... bottles and glasses are used to accommodate wine, water, cocktail, champagne, juice, our liqueur .... Made with colors from enamel that all they ask for, is a little care and attention. That is, hand washing (not hot water and dishwasher). At the same time, these colors gave me the opportunity to revive old glass and crystal objects from personal collections. Unique pieces that confuse the old with the new one, found another place in our every day life. My glass world is made with a lot of love, because it hides in it pieces of my soul. It is made with passion to make moments unique, as unique are the imprinted designs. As it is a handmade job, every glass object has its uniqueness ,so every one of my pieces is not a mass work product with standard stamps. For me, art is necessary because it helps the mind to escape. It keeps our contact with the minimum of our existence . Van Gogh - with the criteria of a rational society that tends to reduce material power to a sovereign code of people's assessment - is a useless one who plays all day with colors and can not even make a living. If there was no art to overturn social standards, Van Gogh would be a model to avoid because it was sensitive. If there was no art, our world would soon lose its soul, that is, its interest.
