Machteld Benard is a Dutch interior designer and art adviser who loves to create unique interior designs that borrow from the colorful and rich character

of Latin American décor, and incorporates into these designs the striking contemporary motifs reflected in the work of leading European and American designers. A distinguishing feature of Machteld Benard´s work is that she blends modern and contemporary furnishings with traditional and antique décor, shaping those seemingly contradictory elements into a coherent statement with its own inimitable beauty. Machteld Benard designs private homes, hotels, offices, restaurants or any other space that needs that the best of both worlds.

Still so grateful to have been able to make this loft in zone 4 of Guatemala city my own. It feels so much like me, it feels like home.

Now onto a new home in Antigua for me and my boys. F*ing hard transition but thank god I like creating new spaces ;)
