Looking back to 2023, we had no idea that our residential project proposal, Time Carving, based in Beijing, would receive such international recognition. We are delighted to announce that the IDA has awarded it an Honorable Mention. We are incredibly grateful to the IDA for this honour, and it is wonderful news for our entire team.

Whether it’s a large space or a small product, both should contribute to people’s happiness. As designers, our role extends beyond merely addressing practical challenges or enhancing aesthetic appeal; we are entrusted with the profound responsibility of utilizing design to help individuals uncover the wellsprings of their happiness and construct enduring memories.

We designed a museum in Latvia!

Omuli Primary School welcomed its first students on October 8th, 1936. Situated in the quaint village of Omuli in Northern Latvia, near the Estonian border, the school was commissioned by then-president K. Ulmanis. Over the years, the student population gradually decreased, leading to the transfer of older students to nearby schools.

After 85 years, the school is embarking on a transformational journey, aiming to create a multi-purpose complex with a central focus on a museum dedicated to horses. This unique museum will educate visitors about the nature and history of local horse breeds while offering engaging hands-on workshops, including horseshoe crafting and various small crafts.

我們在拉脫維亞設計了一個博物館！

奧穆利小學於 1936 年10 月 8 日迎接了第一批學生。該學校位於拉脫維亞北部的奧穆利村莊，靠近愛沙尼亞邊境，由當時的總統 K. Ulmanis 委託建立。多年來，學生人數逐漸減少，導致較年長的學生轉到附近的學校就讀。

85年後，這所學校正開展一個具有轉型性的旅程，旨在打造一個以馬匹博物館為中心的多功能綜合體。這個獨特的博物館將向遊客介紹當地馬匹品種的性格和歷史，同時提供引人入勝的實踐工作坊，包括鐵鞋製作和各種小手工藝活動。

We transform Ancient Roman Cistern Into a Contemporary Art Museum In Italy.

Piscina Mirabilis was a freshwater cistern situated on the Bacoli cliff at the western end of the Gulf of Naples, in southern Italy. It was one of the largest freshwater cisterns constructed by the ancient Romans and served to provide drinking water to the Roman western imperial fleet at Portus Julius. Additionally, Piscina Mirabilis was a Roman reservoir built by Emperor Augustus in the 1st century AD.

After two millennia, Piscina Mirabilis stands as a magnificent architectural marvel of the ancient world. Thanks to Emperor Augustus, these grand structures continue to be admired today, forever serving as a source of pride for Italy. When discussing Emperor Augustus and Piscina Mirabilis, one cannot overlook the significance of Julius Caesar, a Roman general and statesman who played a pivotal role in the transformation from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire. Therefore, Julius Caesar became an important element in this new museum.

Time Carving - A Henderson Residential Project

What is Home

Home is not just a physical space, but also a culture, a period of time, and a feeling. It is the source of people’s sense of belonging and security, and the haven for their souls. At home, we can enjoy a warm atmosphere, experience growth and change together, and learn and grow from the values and traditions passed down among family members. Home guides us in the direction of progress, gives us the motivation to move forward, and enables us to face life’s challenges with courage.

Regardless of the stage of life, whether in joy or sorrow, home is always the spiritual haven of people. At home, we can find the feeling of coming home, receiving the love and support of family members, and together creating a warm, harmonious, and happy family atmosphere. Therefore, home is one of the most precious treasures in our lives, and we should cherish and protect it so that home becomes the most beautiful memory and haven in our lives.

何謂一個家

家不僅是一個物理空間，更是一種文化、一段時光和一種情懷。它是人們歸屬感和安全感的源泉，是人們心靈的寄託所。在家裡，我們可以享受到溫暖的氛圍，共同經歷成長和變化，並且從家庭成員之間傳承的價值觀念和傳統中學習和成長。家為我們指引前進的方向，給予我們前進的動力，讓我們可以勇敢地面對生活的挑戰。
