20th Anniversary Case Review Vol.1 | Lancôme 2020 CNY Pop-Up

M+DESIGN turns 20 this year. Our long-standing partnership with Lancôme is one we‘re proud to revisit.

An Unmissable Modern Lantern Creating a WOW Moment at Singapore Changi Airport, centered on
the CNY 2020 limited-edition collection, reimagining the ”giant lantern“ concept in a modern spatial
language. The result: an eye-catching landmark in a high-traffic retail environment.

From concept to completion, it demonstrates our strength in brand understanding, cultural translation,
retail planning, and on-site execution.

Happy 20th anniversary!

For this new logo, we have also kept the core geometric language of “M+” and softened the originally sharp corners into rounded ones. It’s still professional, but now it feels more open, friendly, and warm.

Next, we will gradually look back at the outstanding works and landmark projects of M+ DESIGN.

20 years is not the end, but a new beginning. Keep using design to connect more possibilities.

In 2026, M+ DESIGN will celebrate our 20th anniversary!

For this logo upgrade, we specially designed a 20th-anniversary logo, reconfiguring the geometric language of ’M+‘ into a ’20‘ to celebrate this ongoing journey of growth.

M+ DESIGN has been with the brand all the way to create better consumer experiences. We’ve also expanded from retail terminals and space design to a full 360° build across brand, channels, and the consumer journey.

Inspired by the KV, the three hero products are articulated through a bold “big bang” visual language—amplifying form, energy, and radiance—creating a cohesive and impactful expression of the campaign launch.

The journey begins at the gate.
The exterior of Beauty Terminal is designed as a welcoming airport façade—where layered wooden fins, terminal signage, and light-filled structures frame the entrance like a real departure gate.

Blending Zen-inspired calm with the energy of travel, the façade invites travelers to step inside and begin their beauty journey—before they even cross the threshold.
