We are working together / collaborating with artists and designers to develop products together. They are artists / designers from around the world (local and foreigner) who live in Bali. Therefore the products are with modern design and technique but still with local motif and content. The concept started from the interior design aspect, shop’s logo and image, products development, all the way un

til visual merchandising. The interior designer has been involved not only to design the shop’s interior but also as shop’s art director. That way all designs from interior until merchandising will tie up together. And he is still involved until now.

The art of atta weaving using a fern plant native to Bali is superior craftsmanship of the Karangasem community.

In the Tenganan village the people seperate the atta reed into tiny strands which are intricately woven by skilled artisans into different items.

Once fully woven the items are boiled, left in the sun to dry then smoked over burning cocoshell clippings.

Atta provides a denser, stiffer and more rigid weave than rattan. Ideal for smaller items.
