September always feels like a little reset , summer slowly saying goodbye, cosy days coming back, and that lovely feeling of starting something new.

About the last night..

Eight people, eight different stories, eight different reasons for being there… and somehow, for a few hours, we became one little community around the table. 🤍

There was laughter, creativity, curiosity, new connections, familiar faces, and so many beautiful moments in between. Some came for the first time, some already knew my work, and some were simply there to try something new ,but everyone left with something they created with their own hands.

And that, for me, is what these workshops are really about.

It’s not only about making candles.
It’s about connection.
About slowing down.
About sharing a table with people you may have never met before.
About creating memories while creating something beautiful.

Thank you to each and every one of you for spending your evening with me. You made it truly special.

A special thank you to for being part of my journey from the very beginning, and what a beautiful way to finish Craft Month and the summer, surrounded by creativity, connection and wonderful people. 🤍

And looking around that table last night, I couldn’t help but think… this is exactly why Candlelight by Sanya exists.

A little goodbye to summer… 🍂

There’s something about this time of year that I love.

The light changes. The evenings get shorter. The air feels different. And suddenly, without even noticing, summer is making room for autumn.

And I have to say… autumn is my favourite. 🤎
The colours, the cosy feeling, the beautiful scents all the little things that make home feel warmer.

So I made these little wardrobe & drawer fresheners in five soft autumn-inspired colours, decorated with tiny dried flowers and scented with:

Chamomile & Lavender
Jasmine & Patchouli
Fig leaves
Lemongrass & Ginger

Hang one in your wardrobe or pop it into a drawer and let the fragrance slowly become part of your clothes and linen.

Maybe summer is leaving… but I’m more than ready for autumn...

Seriously, Sanya... be proud of yourself. Not just because you got into The Irish Times, but because you know how much work, courage, uncertainty and starting over sits behind that one article.

You didn't wait until everything was perfect. You just kept making things, kept learning, kept showing up. And now your little Candlelight by Sanya has its story printed in one of Ireland's biggest newspapers. And you have it in your hands..
A big.. a huge milestone .. oh man.. 😍 im proud to the moon and back..

THIS. THIS IS WHY I DO IT.

As part of Cork Craft Month, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting my candle bouquet workshop with the wonderful Cork Craft and Design team and Greywood Arts.

Thank you to every single person who came along, created with me, laughed with me and gave me such beautiful energy. We had the best time. 🤍

And your bouquets… they were simply beautiful. Every single one was completely different, completely personal, and made with so much love. I could feel it in every one of them.

There is something incredibly special about watching someone doing what im doing almost every day..., switch off from the outside world and create something with their own hands. For a few hours, we weren't thinking about everything waiting for us outside that room. We were just there , creating, chatting, laughing and enjoying the moment.

And when I look around and realise that THIS is what I have built… I feel incredibly proud of myself.

Proud of what I'm creating.
Proud of how far I've come.
And honestly… excited to see where this little journey is taking me next. ❤️

Thank you, , for giving me the opportunity to share my craft and my little piece of happiness with others.
