Just added a bunch of new colourways to the website!
This batch is a mix of Neon Tweed, Kid Silk Mohair, Neon Fluff, and sock yarn in bright, summery shades. I always love seeing a new batch together in my yarn basket, it’s one of my favourite parts of the dyeing process!

I love the patina my Cypra needles are developing!
The copper has started to darken and change colour from use, and somehow it makes them feel even nicer to knit with, more personal and mine. Working on my sweater and really enjoying watching both the sweater and the needles slowly evolve.

How do you even take a photo of a finished sweater?.. I need a better setup for it.
Really proud of this I finished in record time, made with my Merino/Mohair 4ply. I love this yarn base, it creates this soft texture with a single strand, without holding two threads together. This is my go to now for any mohair colourwork.

Fresh summer colourways on Yak/Linen, Neon Tweed, and BFL High Twist Sock.
Very different yarn bases, I always love seeing how the same palette behaves on different fibres, I dyed Merino Tween and Alpaca fluff in the same pot!

Really happy with how this Merino/Mohair batch turned out! It’s technically a 4ply, but the halo gives it so much presence that it almost knits up like a DK. I’ve been knitting with it held single and love the fabric it creates, soft, airy, and surprisingly cosy. I think it works especially well for colourwork, the halo softens the transitions between colours beautifully and gives everything a slightly blended look.

Showing off how this variegated sock yarn looks in a skein, unrolled, and finally knitted up. This was possible thanks to , who created the new pattern in this yarn, pattern launched today! It’s always so satisfying to see how a colourway transforms once it’s on the needles.

I didn’t know about knitting cords for the longest time, and when I discovered them I wanted to make some of my own.
The kit includes a storage tin, 3.5 m of silicone cord that you can cut to the length you like, and 3 stoppers.
