Whenever I have a crisis of knitting inspiration, I usually knit a scrap project to get me out of it. Somehow, easy colourwork and fun yarn combinations always do it for me!
This time round I’m knitting a slightly oversized top using some sock yarn leftovers. Pattern by Wool & Pine

Lots of new colourways added on Merino/Linen Single Ply and Mohair/Merino Bouclé!
I’m in love with these yarn bases - the Merino/Linen takes speckles incredibly well, so of course I had to speckle all of them!

I’ve been in a bit of a knitting slumber lately after finishing two sweaters. Nothing was exciting enough to get me properly interested in starting something new!

Usually a good brioche project or something that uses up scraps can get me out of it, so I started both! It’s my second attempt at the and this time it’s going much faster! I’m using some incredible yarn for it too - yak/silk singles in green and silk/alpaca in Blue Watercolour. Such a good combination!

I am so in the mood for autumn already! I started reading a new book series that reads exactly like Gilmore Girls, and I’ve been dyeing loads of autumn-inspired colourways lately. I am completely done with summer!

Taking any recommendations for autumn shows, movies or books to keep the mood going!

So many new colourways just landed on the website!
I’ve been in a bit of a dyeing frenzy lately, from bright greens (Halloween!) and juicy pinks to warm autumnal browns and oranges. Lots of different bases too, including Silk Baby Suri Alpaca (new and exciting), Neon Tweed, Neon Fluff, sock yarn and some of my softest luxury blends!

Which one would you pick?

Somehow I remembered to record some bts videos! This new Silk & Baby Suri Alpaca yarn looks exactly like watercolour. The colours melt into each other beautifully, with a soft, delicate fluff from the Baby Suri.
It’s exquisitely soft and light, but with that gorgeous silky drape and subtle sheen. 69% Grade A Mulberry Silk, 21% Baby Suri Alpaca and 10% Polyamide.

Throwback to the sweater construction I really liked, the one in the . I’ve only tried it in that pattern, but I loved knitting the body from the bottom up, then both sleeves together, before joining everything at the shoulders to knit the yoke. I used two mohair strands dyed in slightly different shades of green held together for this one.
