Meet the Artist: Mia Foley 🎨💙

Say hello to Mia Foley — a Kinsale-based artist whose work celebrates the wonder of everyday nature, from the flash of a bird’s wing to the ever-changing blues of the coastline. A first-class Fine Art graduate of LSAD and winner of the Taylor Art Award, Mia brings a blend of skill, curiosity, and joy to everything she creates.

We love having Mia as part of Made in Cork. She often pops into the shop to chat and connect with the community that inspires her. When she’s not creating, she’s teaching watercolour and expressive drawing, encouraging people of all ages to rediscover their creative spark.

Her work has featured in many exhibitions and sits proudly in public and private collections across Ireland.

Meet the Maker: Natasha O’Shea 🌿

We’re delighted to introduce Natasha O’Shea, a talented visual artist, professional textile designer, and art teacher based in Kinsale, Co. Cork.

Natasha’s creative journey began in textile design, working across Europe in the fashion industry before launching her own label, IVASI, celebrated for its vibrant prints and use of natural fabrics. About eight years ago, she shifted her focus fully to visual art, blending illustration, texture, and decorative design into her distinctive style.

Her brand, NATASHA O’SHEA ART, reflects her love of nature and fine craftsmanship. You’ll find paintings on canvas and wooden panels, silk scarves printed with her artwork, eco-friendly art cards, and more — all 100% natural and sustainable.

Natasha’s work radiates warmth, creativity, and a deep connection to the natural world — a perfect fit for the Made in Cork Pop-Up Store, where she’ll also be helping out by running the shop every Friday!
