Nestled in the heart of the forest, dreaming of golden leaves 🍂✨

The weather turned today — you can feel the sweet chill of autumn rolling in 🌓 My favourite time of year, when the nights grow longer and the air feels full of change 🌾

Autumn is a season of reflection, a moment to gather what we’ve cultivated from the busy summer months 🌻 I feel so blessed to have had so much time to focus on my art, and as we settle into a quieter season — painting, creating, and dreaming — I’m excited for what the next year will bring 💫

But for now, we rest, we slumber, just like my sweet little squirrel 💛

This is another one of my woodland paintings, created on a natural wood slice with professional acrylics, adorned with foraged nuts and hagstones ✨
