Weekend Whispers
💗 Wishing each and every one of you — Mothers, Adoptive and Foster Mothers, Aunts, Big Sisters and Carers — a joy-filled “Mothering” weekend. 💗
Yes, it’s Mother’s Day here in Ireland on Sunday, so I just wanted to send a little appreciation to all the wonderful women who nurture, support and care for others. And a special hug to my own three lovely daughters 💗 💗 💗 without them, I wouldn’t have the great privilege of being a mother at all.
And if your children, nieces aren’t around this year, remember to show yourself some appreciation too.
Every year, if I happen to be on my own, I treat myself to a lovely small cake, a glass of bubbly and a beautiful bunch of flowers. Why not?
Let’s face it — we mothers and carers are not perfect, but we do our best with the level of awareness we have at the time… and that is more than enough.
💗 Sometimes the heart creates its own family.
💗 Here’s to love, gratitude and the quiet magic of mothering in all its forms.
And if nobody buys the cake… buying it yourself is perfectly acceptable! 🎂

Weekend Whispers
Happy Valentine’s Weekend!

❤️ Wishing each and every one of you a weekend filled with love, joy, and delicious moments.
I simply love to love! It truly makes the world go round… and softens the sharper edges of life.
Whether you are single, coupled, somewhere in between — or gloriously independent — here’s your gentle reminder:
❤️ Love and nurture yourself first.
❤️ In whatever way makes your heart glow.
❤️ Chocolate mousse counts. Champagne counts. Music definitely counts.
And then… from your beautifully overflowing cup, let that love spill over. Let it ripple outward. Let it bathe the world — gently, generously, joyfully.
And just in case you needed permission…
❤️ Dress up for yourself.
❤️ Light the candle.
❤️ Play the music.
❤️ Be your own Valentine first.
Because love is not limited.
It multiplies!

Reminder for the weekend:
You don’t have to fix your life, figure everything out, or become a better version of yourself before Monday 😄

This weekend, may you:
💛 rest without guilt
💛 laugh at something silly
💛 enjoy a small, unexpected joy
💛 and remember — you’re doing better than you think

💛 Weekend Whispers 💛
💛 Wishing you all a joy-filled weekend 💛

And just like that… we turn gently towards 2026, drawing a new breath into our lungs.

The Christmas decorations are lovingly packed away, the space around me feels lighter, and I’ve welcomed in fresh energy with uplifting colours to brighten the winter greyness. There is something deeply satisfying about a clean slate — a quiet promise of new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and those little unexpected bonuses that life loves to surprise us with. You really never know what’s waiting just around the corner.

Then something rather magical happened…
Ten days ago, I was out walking near sunset in Stockholm — it was only 14:47, yet the sky was glowing in magnificent shades of orange and gold. As I stood on a hill taking it all in, I heard a rhythmic tapping. I looked up… and there it was — a speckled woodpecker, busy and focused, working away.
The very next day — almost to the minute — I saw it again.
Same time. Same energy.
A beautiful moment of synchronicity… a little wink from life itself.
To me, the woodpecker feels like a winter messenger of:
💛 persistence
💛 resilience
💛 “keep going” energy
💛 hidden opportunities beneath the surface
So now I’m holding two symbols together as I step into this new year:
💛 The Phoenix — transformation, renewal, rising stronger
💛 The Woodpecker — steady progress, focus, and purpose

A reminder that we’ve already built resilience and strength — and that it will quietly carry us through whatever twists and turns may appear along the path ahead.

A few days later, I spotted a beautiful black squirrel, native to Stockholm, calmly foraging on the grass, quite content to let me watch for a while before darting off in search of new adventures. Just before that, a young magpie appeared — peaceful and unhurried, enjoying its lunchtime treasures.

And now… back in dear ol’ Dublin 💛
The sea, the wind in my hair, the sound of the waves — instant calm. Heaven on earth.

Here’s to noticing the signs, enjoying the small wonders, and stepping forward with curiosity, courage, and a light heart.
Wishing you a beautiful, uplifting weekend — wherever you are 💛

Weekend Whispers
💚❤️ Wishing you all a Jingle Joy-filled weekend! ❤️💚
It’s the 3rd Sunday of Advent, and before we know it, Santa will be coming to town… so the big question is — who’s been naughty or nice?
Me? Oh, I’ve been both 😇😈
But I do have my special spicy choco balls ready to sweeten him up, just in case!
I can’t help but think of Eartha Kitt singing Santa Baby — so sassy, so fabulous. It always makes me laugh and lifts my mood instantly!
If you fancy a listen, here it is:

And now, Happy Toes are once again on the move, heading to Sweden to celebrate Christmas with my family ❤️
Suitcase ready, heart full, and a little sparkle in my step.
This time of year always brings me back to the art of giving and receiving — and yes, the 12 Days of Christmas too. Receiving graciously is just as important as giving. And gifts don’t need to be expensive… just thoughtful.
When you really think about it, every day is a gift.
Imagine waking up each morning to find a large box with your name on it, waiting outside your door. Inside are surprises — some wonderful, some challenging — but all manageable, because you are stronger and wiser than you know.
For me, those daily gifts can be:
❤️ a burst of sunshine
💚 an unexpected call from a loved one
❤️ hearing from someone I haven’t spoken to in ages
💚 a smile from a stranger
❤️ a chance meeting in the most unlikely place
💚 a good joke… or better still, a proper belly laugh
May your weekend be filled with small joys, warm moments, and gentle magic — and may you unwrap at least one beautiful surprise along the way ✨
Happy Weekend Whispers 💚❤️
❤️💚 Happy Toes are already dancing in anticipation… and so am I 💃✨

Koh Benefits
Koh-Coconut-water is extremely low in calories and packs a nutritional punch. It is full of minerals and has more electrolytes than packaged sports drinks and more potassium than a banana.
1. It has no cholesterol – this is in addition to being a low-calorie drink
2. Despite being naturally sweet, it is extremely low in sugars.
3.It is low in sodium compared to energy drinks and high in chloride compared to sports drinks.
4.Regulates and controls the body’s temperature and boosts the immune system.
5.It boosts your metabolism, which is an important step in a person’s weight loss process
6.It is a natural isotonic drink i.e. is the perfect drink to rehydrate your body and replenish lost electrolytes.
7.It cleanses and settles the digestive tract by actively killing intestinal worms that makes for easier digestion and less chances of digetsive illnesses.
8.Coconut water controls vomiting making it extremely important for those suffering from ailments that cause vomiting like typhoid, malaria or fevers.
And best of all -coconut water is an excellent drink for hangovers!!
WHY KOH
KOH Coconut water is cloudy I appearance.
No 1. We are not from concentrate. Our coconuts are cut from the tree and in the carton within a matter of hours.
2. We use mostly young Thai coconuts. These are sweet and full of nutrients. Our company is small so there are enough coconuts for our production needs.
3. KOH Original has No Added Sugars, flavours or preservatives because our coconuts are young, naturally sweet and tasty. There are other brands out there that add sugars, sweeteners and preservatives and don't declare them all on their label. Koh Mango has a little added sugar for those that prefer sweeter product
