Sharon O'Callaghan Art

Sharon O'Callaghan Art Irish based artist. Dubliner, Bristolian, wife, mum, dreamer, chocoholic. I use art as a way to interpret and express my experiences. Keep creative! Sharon

Born in Bristol in the UK, I was always drawing and painting as a child, inspired at an early age by my Grandad and his 'art shed'. Now living in Dublin, Ireland, close to the sea, mountains and city, I am never short of inspiration with the rich Irish culture, people and landscapes. I also love travel and have always been fascinated with the people and traditions of the places I have visited. Bei

ng able to connect with art lovers and offer original pieces for their homes brings me so much joy. I hope you enjoy looking through my work, and please feel free to get in touch if you've any questions.

So proud of Emma for all her work pulling together such a wonderful exhibition and very honoured to be one of her portrait subjects as part of it. Go see the works in real life if you can! 🌟

Just a jumper hanging on a hanger. It had this whaffle knit texture throughout, but I ran out of time and patience to draw all the lines, so hopefully you get the idea. ;->

Thank you to my lovely friend Helen for giving me this sketch book. I had fallen out of the habit of sketching lately, and this book has managed to get me back doing it regularly again. I'm still not quite managing one a day, but it's definitely making me do a little sketch as and when, and I hadn't realised how much I miss it! Sketching for sketching sake. Literally anything random that happens to be in my line of sight in any given moment.

Will post up any that come out vaguely ok... others shall stay hidden away in the book forever ;->
