I’m a finalist for Creative Business Woman of the Year 2026 with .

It comes right in the middle of the biggest shift I’ve made in my business — stepping back from doing everything for everyone, and following the part that’s always lit me up: colour.

Calm at home isn’t about stripping the colour out — it’s about putting yourself in.🏡

We’re told the safe neutral is the calm choice.
So we paint it, clear the surfaces, and wait to feel something.🤍

The room looks fine… but you walk in and stay flat.🤍

Here’s the truth: a neutral room doesn’t calm you because there’s nothing of you in it. 🤍

Calm comes when your home recognises you — when the colour matches how you want to feel.🤍

That’s not a paint thing. That’s a you thing.🤍

“I could never pull that off.” I hear it all the time.
And it’s not true.

Nobody is born brave with colour.
I’m not — I grew up somewhere colour was normal, so I never learned to be afraid of it.
That’s the only difference between us.

You already have a colour you loved once and quietly stopped trusting.
It’s still in there.
Your home doesn’t need you to be braver.
It needs you to be more you.

Most people think a flat, beige home is a sign they're 𝘯𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳.

It 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵.
It's a 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵.

Safe became the default, one careful decision at a time — and careful, repeated enough, turns a whole house quiet.

The shift is simpler than you think: stop starting with the paint.
Paint is the last decision, not the first.

Start with the feeling. How do you want to feel when you walk into that room? Calm. Alive. Warm. Home.

Get the feeling right, and the colour tells you what it wants to be.

I'm not from here. And it's exactly why I see your home differently.

I grew up in Brazil, where colour is never brave — it's just Tuesday. On the houses, the doors, the markets, the people.

Then I moved to Ireland, and I noticed it almost straight away. Home after home in soft beige and magnolia and grey. Beautiful houses, all of them — and so many wearing the same quiet outfit.

I never thought less of anyone for it. I got curious. Because to me it didn't look like taste. It looked like a habit. That's the eye I bring to your home. I see the colour that could live there — because I grew up surrounded by it.
