You will need only 1 metre of your chosen cotton or light fabric for a knee-length or mini-tiered skirt. If you prefer a long skirt, you will need 2 metres of material. We’ll provide the rest: sewing machine, elastic band, thread, scissors, etc.
Week 1. Fundamental sewing machine set-up and safe operation. Body measurements, pattern drafting and cutting, and garment construction.
Week 2. Pinning methods and sewing
Week 3. Sewing
Week 4. Finishing techniques, such as hems, edge finishes, and closures
By the end of week 4, your skirt will be finished and ready to wear this summer!
