We’ve chosen a rich chocolate colour to finish our selection of modern browns. This is Felt from Little Greene and it is gorgeous! I love to use it on front doors, trims and smaller pieces of furniture like a chest of drawers. It looks great on ironwork too.

It has an LRV (Light Reflective Value) of 14, meaning it is quite dark and absorbs most of the light hitting it, making it ideal for creating a cocooning or moody effect.

Continuing on our theme of modern brown neutrals, this evening I have chosen the paint shade Jitney from

This beautiful relaxed, earthy colour, though muted, is incredibly uplifting. There is an ever so subtle pink undertone in certain lights. This colour feels fresh in Spring but cosy in Winter. We often pair this with Dimity, a complimentary white.

Almost there - I’ve really enjoyed working on this family home. I’m redesigning both of the bathrooms in this house. Scroll to the end to see the before plus my mood board for their second bathroom. I’ll share more of that project soon.
