Our Story
The Kelleher Family of Riverview Eggs are producing “Amazing Irish Eggs” since 1966. Our Founder, Margaret Kelleher, along with her husband, Dan Joe, started with 600 hens on the home farm, in Upper Glanmire, to supplement the farm income. Today, it remains a family business, continuing the farming life traditions of a strong commitment, to animal welfare & husbandry in a sustainable way - in line with the Kelleher family code of ethics.
Riverview is the largest producer and packer of eggs in Munster. We employ 21 people locally and a further 40 are supported on our Riverview Family of Producers - all of which, are family operated, which ensures the best of care and attention to animal welfare, and to producing the best eggs possible, all year round, for our customers, and you the consumer.
We, The Kelleher Family, would like to thank you, one and all, for being loyal customers over the past 54 years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your very generous support.
We live in very trying times, where our lives are somewhat on pause, in this New World. It does allow us time, to take stock of who and what we are, and hopefully we will be all the better people, for this.
