Gorgeous solid oak hall seat with stick stand c1920. The support rails on the front legs and stick compartment feature heavily turned barley-twist styling. The right side features a small bench with a hinged, lift-up lid that reveals a useful, deep compartment for shoes or blankets. Overall, a gorgeous hall furniture piece. That oak with its a highly pronounced grain has a rich, warm finish, just lovely.
