Feeding the Birds, Weaving the Land – We had a great day:)
Kids explored the magic of nature at this Cruinniú na nÓg workshop, learning how traditional craft skills while discovering how small actions can help local wildlife. After a chat about birds, habitats and why feeders matter, everyone gets hands on with fresh willow rods, learning to bend, twist and weave them into their own hanging bird feeder for seeds or fat balls. Each young maker brought home their finished feeder along with simple tips for placing and caring for it, making this a creative, eco friendly adventure that connects imagination with the natural world.
