Here is the story behind this customized artwork for the living room:
The Ahmedabad Silhouette: We commissioned a bespoke painting of the Ahmedabad skyline as seen from the Sabarmati Riverfront, complete with the iconic Patang Hotel.

Reflected Harmony: The piece captures the "Multicoloured Sky"—pink, orange, yellow, purple, and green—all reflected in the river. It perfectly ties together the water and lotus pond themes that run through the entire home.

Beyond Decoration: This isn't just a wall hanging; it’s a site-specific installation that bridges the gap between the exterior environment and the interior sanctuary.

The Technical Foundation: As shown in the initial frames, the journey starts with a comprehensive grid. We calculate the datum lines, plumbing couplings, and fixing points to ensure that when the art meets the wall, it fits perfectly.

Hand-Painted Precision: We’ve layered a custom hand-painted lotus mosaic over a textured backdrop. The arched mirror is integrated into the "wooden mirror frame," creating a seamless boundary between the reflection and the art.

Functional Warmth: By pairing the intricate mosaic work with an "open wooden shelf" and a sleek stone countertop, we balance the detailed art with clean, functional lines.

But i often feel stunned at how every responsibility is shifted onto individual and privatized
Clean drinking water- every house needs purifier or Ro
Neat path fpr walk or jog
Need to buy house in decent society
Need decent comfortable environment
Gotta install ac and bear humongous elec bills
Roads and
Now even if basic shade needed
Its installed by private company - adani at iscon cross road
How and where are we spending the tax money??
U say education ? Infrastructure? Development? Is it really though ?

It takes lot of planning and little bit of luck and "serendipity" to align every bit

What makes a house unique
A certain thought or idea refined and developed enough so that it becomes a theme.
Imagine if every apartment in the same building is done by us, will it be still same ?
What if all the families have same typical requirements of a bed wardrobe kitchen and living area.. will it still come out same ?
Creating 1 wall with a certain football theme wallpaper or cnc work does that make that room football theme ?
No
To make ot a theme- same idea should be felt in various decisions; material choices, form, colour choices, craftsmanship etc

The Personal Bubble: Not everyone is comfortable sharing close quarters on a couch. Individual chairs provide a "personal bubble," allowing people to relax and feel more at ease in a social setting.

Breaking the Monotony: Large, monolithic furniture pieces can sometimes make a room feel heavy. Adding individual chairs breaks up the space visually, adding rhythm and flow.

Thematic Harmony: For this project, the wooden sticks in the chair design were chosen specifically to mimic "Lotus Stems," perfectly complementing our overarching Lotus Pond theme.
