One of the most special details in Raeth is the cherry blossom installation that flows along the staircase. It was inspired by our clients’ travels to Japan and their desire to bring back a small memory of that experience into their everyday life at home.

As we explored different ways of bringing that story into the space, we wanted something that felt meaningful, elegant, and timeless. Cherry blossoms felt like the perfect fit.

What started as a hand sketch soon evolved through multiple iterations, material explorations, and craftsmanship before finding its place within the home. Paired with the warm textures, earthy tones, and handcrafted details across Raeth, it became more than just a feature it became a story woven into the space.

Sometimes the most beautiful design details come from personal memories, and this was one of them.

We ended up capturing more than just a home.

Somewhere between moving decor for the hundredth time, chasing the perfect light, fixing cushions, taking snack breaks, and laughing over things that probably only make sense on shoot day, we collected a lot of fun memories too.

Every project teaches us something, but every once in a while, a project leaves something behind.

Raeth was one of those homes.

From the very beginning, it felt less like designing a house and more like shaping a feeling. A feeling of warmth, ease, and comfort that quietly unfolds as you move through the spaces. The kind of home that doesn’t ask for attention but stays with you long after you’ve left.

Working on Raeth reminded us why we do what we do. The trust our clients placed in us, the conversations, the excitement of seeing ideas come to life, and the little moments throughout the journey that made it all worthwhile.

And recently, seeing the project get featured felt like a small reminder that good work always finds its way. A little motivation for the days ahead and a celebration of everyone who was part of this journey.

Raeth, coming soon.

Ahome inspired by the quiet beauty of sand where textures do most of the talking, light is given room to wander, and every detail was chosen with intention. Inspired by the clients’ years in Japan, you’ll find subtle cherry blossom influences woven through the home, paired with Mughal-inspired motifs that add a sense of familiarity and craft. The soft curves, sandy tones, and layered textures almost make you feel like you’re walking through sand dunes, while the warmth of Scandinavian design keeps everything calm and understated.

Raeth is less about making a statement and more about creating a feeling.

The kind of home that doesn’t demand attention, but slowly earns it.

If you’ve followed our work for a while, you’ve probably noticed something.

We have a thing for arches.

Maybe it’s because they’ve been around for centuries and somehow never feel out of place. Or maybe it’s because they soften a space in a way straight lines simply can’t.

While designing Samskrithi and Kanso, we found ourselves experimenting with arches through mirrors, furniture details, mouldings, and subtle architectural moments. Not as a statement, but as a detail that quietly ties a space together.

The interesting part? Despite these homes having completely different personalities, arches found a way to belong in both.

As we went down our little cane rabbit hole, we discovered something interesting, cane and rattan aren’t actually the same thing. Rattan is the plant, while cane is the outer layer that’s woven into furniture and interior details.

Maybe that’s why cane has stood the test of time. It’s lightweight, versatile, and somehow manages to feel at home in completely different styles of spaces.

In Home 1, Samskrithi, cane feels familiar and rooted, blending seamlessly with the home’s rich materiality and timeless details. In Home 2, Kanso, it takes on a quieter role, bringing texture and warmth while staying true to the home’s calm and minimal nature.

The same material, two completely different personalities, and that’s what made us notice it in the first place.

It’s interesting how same elements can take on differing personalities depending on the space around it.

In Samskrithi, turned wood felt a lot more rooted in tradition. It sat naturally within the richer palette and layered details of the home, adding warmth and rhythm to the interiors.

But in Kanso Home, the same detail became more quieter forms but the same craft interpreted in a completely different way.

And honestly, that’s how A Tale of Two Homes began.

While looking through these images, we realised that although the homes looked completely different, these elements quietly connected them.

The same details, just interpreted through two very different homes and personalities.
