Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC), a Govt. of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Textiles, is proudly participating in Bharat Tex 2026, India's premier global textile and lifestyle exhibition, being held from 14โ17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The Cottage Pavilion was inaugurated by Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, in the esteemed presence of Shri Akhilesh Kumar, Dy. Director General, Ministry of Textiles & Chairman, CCIC, Commodore Rajiv Ashok(Retd.), Managing Director, CCIC & other Senior officials of CCIC.
On this occasion Secretary(Textiles) also launched CCIC's latest Product Catalogue showcasing a diverse collection of indigenous Handlooms, Handicrafts, Lifestyle & Sustainable products sourced directly from artisans and weavers across India's craft clusters, serving as a valuable resource for domestic and international buyers seeking quality, authenticity and value for money.
Built around the campaign theme "You Admire It. You Source It. At Cottage.", the pavilion highlights Cottage's comprehensive sourcing capabilities across Fabrics, Yarns, Handlooms, Handicrafts, Natural Fibres, Sustainable Solutions, Traditional Arts and Natural Dyes.ย
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary(Textiles) appreciated Cottage's continued efforts in preserving India's rich craft traditions while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for artisans and weavers, alsoย emphasizing the importance of promoting Indian craftsmanship on domestic & global platforms on a consistent basis.ย
