🥪 1. Mini Veggie Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients:
• 2 slices whole wheat bread
• Grated carrot, cucumber (squeezed dry)
• Cheese slice or grated cheese
• Butter or mayo
Method:
Spread butter/mayo on bread, layer veggies and cheese, grill lightly or serve plain. Cut into fun shapes!
Tip: Use a cookie cutter to make star/heart shapes.
🍚 2. Veg Fried Rice Balls
Ingredients:
• 1 cup cooked rice
• Finely chopped veggies (carrot, capsicum, peas)
• Grated cheese
• Pinch of black pepper & salt
Method:
Mix everything and form small balls. Shallow fry or air-fry until golden.
Tip: Great finger food with no mess!
🧁 3. Banana Oats Muffins (Eggless)
Ingredients:
• 1 ripe banana
• ½ cup oats
• ¼ cup whole wheat flour
• 1 tbsp honey (for 2.5+ yrs)
• ¼ tsp baking powder
• ¼ cup milk
Method:
Mix all and bake at 180°C for 12–15 mins in muffin tray.
Tip: Freeze extras for the week!
🍝 4. Mini Suji Vegetable Idlis
Ingredients:
• 1 cup suji (semolina)
• ½ cup curd
• Chopped vegetables (carrot, beans)
• Salt & Eno
Method:
Mix suji, curd, veggies and little water to form batter. Add Eno before steaming in mini idli moulds.
Tip: Pack with ketchup or chutney in a dip container.
🫓 5. Paneer Paratha Rolls
Ingredients:
• Whole wheat dough
• Grated paneer
• A pinch of jeera, salt, and turmeric
Method:
Make small stuffed paneer parathas, roll and wrap in foil.
Tip: Easy for little hands to hold and eat.
🥞 6. Apple Cinnamon Pancakes
Ingredients:
• ½ cup wheat flour
• ¼ cup grated apple
• Pinch cinnamon & baking powder
• ½ cup milk or water
Method:
Mix into batter, cook on non-stick pan as mini pancakes.
Tip: Can be eaten cold and still taste great.
🍢 7. Stuffed Suji Appe
Ingredients:
• ½ cup suji
• ¼ cup curd
• Mixed veggies
• Pinch salt, eno
Method:
Prepare batter, pour into appe pan, stuff with cheese or veggies, cook till golden on both sides.
Tip: Serve with a toothpick or pack plain.
