Title: " Birthing the Bane: The Womb of Waste "

Medium: Mixed Medium (Pen & Ink, Water Colour, Paper Collage)
Artist Statement:
This artwork portrays that marine pollution is not just a threat to physical survival, but a catastrophic end to the future lineage. Symbolized by the sea-horse releasing human waste instead of life, the plastic plague has penetrated the very core of reproduction, leaving behind only the naked, haunting skeletons of a dying ecosystem.

The painting has created for the competition on the topic " Our Beach Our Responsibility " which has been organised by " Art for Awareness ".

This Artwork transforms Draupadi’s endless saree into a swirling cosmos of destiny, power, and resistance. Through the intricate spiral, I have woven the pivotal chapters of the Mahabharat—from the deceptive dice game and palace conspiracies to the ultimate chaos of war. The sharp contrast of fiery reds and earthy greens captures the eternal clash between human greed and cosmic justice, guarded by the sacred presence of Krishna. It is not just a drape; it is a timeless canvas of an unending epic.

Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshashala (Nandan, Kolkata) - তে আয়োজিত হল KAIROS - এর পক্ষ থেকে 2nd Art Exhibition। প্রদর্শনীর মূল উদ্যোক্তা হিসেবে ছিলেন Curator & Artist Sangita Biswas এবং আমাদের বিশেষ অতিথিশিল্পী হিসাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট শিল্পী Susanta Shibani Paul(Sir), যিনি mass artist রূপেই বেশি পরিচিত তাঁর শিল্পকর্মের দ্বারা, কলকাতার বুকে -দুর্গোৎসবে। উনার উপস্থিতি সত্যিই আমাদের ঐতিহ্যকে আরও গৌরবময় করে তোলে।
আমাদের প্রদর্শনীতে বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে আসা বিভিন্ন বয়সের, বিভিন্ন ভাবধারার মানুষের সমাগম হয়। সকলের উপস্থিতিই আমাদের জন্য বিশেষ আনন্দময় হয়ে ওঠে। সাধারণ মানুষ থেকে বুদ্ধিদীপ্ত মানুষ সকলেই উপভোগ করেছেন আমাদের এই প্রদর্শনী।
আপনাদের উদ্দেশ্যে রইলো প্রদর্শনীর কিছু ছবি। আশা করি ভালো লাগবে আপনাদেরও। ছবিগুলো শেষ পর্যন্ত দেখার অনুরোধ রইলো।😊🙏
