Granny Square Cardigan by moi!

Hey all! This is my first attempt at making a cardigan! It was so much fun and so easy! It did not necessarily keep me warm (because of the granny stitch) but it definitely did make an interesting and cool add on to my outfit/ future outfits. My daughters had the idea that I need to attach a few daisies to the sleeves! Will be posting close up pics soon! The mountains you see are the Karakoram range in Ladakh. What an absolutely gorgeous property we stayed at ! It ma de a perfect backdrop for my piece. This photo was taken by my 7 year old, Arya. She does have an eye!

Yarn: I used cotton dk yarn from .in . Harini had named this colourway ‘unicorn barf’ and when I saw this yarn on her website I had to have it!! The thickness was ideal for this cardigan.

GRANNY SQUARE HAT by moi!

I wanted to make a granny square hat for myself, after going to through various patterns and tutorials, I somehow came up with one matching my size. I used a 2.5 hook for the stitches to be tight and gave a light lining to the hat. I wore my hat on a recent trip, it was very comfortable and protected me from the sharp sun in Leh and the lining really helped !
I am pretty happy with it! 🤍🤍🤍

I choose to use three different colours for my asters and I have used Nako Denim yarn, this yarn worked perfect for the asters and the pattern!

I prefer using light colourways for baby blankets and other baby products, it has nothing to do with the baby but with a new mom who is going through so many confusing emotions, that maybe staring at a pastel palette might relax her a bit… it worked for me. Even now I choose a very muted palette for my girls bedroom 🧘‍♀️😅

This blanket came out so gorgeous!! I used Style Craft DK yarn for this project. It drapes so well and becomes really soft with use! Susy’s pattern is amazingly easy! I plan to make a throw too soon! The pattern is live, do go check it out on her page.

CANDILICIOUS BABY BLANKET BY

It’s been raining babies and I made this blanket for sweet little Gulnar. The yarn I used is from ice, they have great colourways. C2C is a great stitch to use when you are in bit of a hurry and it goes very well with variegated yarn. I am very happy with the way it turned out!
