Extremely disappointed with today’s experience with Swiggy Swiggy Delivery Partners
A customer placed an order from my outlet, and we prepared everything on time. Even after marking the order as “Ready”, no delivery partner was assigned for more than 3–4 hours.
The worst part — the customer was not even able to cancel the order from their side. Imagine waiting for hours with no rider, no proper support response, and no cancellation option.
I repeatedly tried contacting partner support, but the response was highly unprofessional and almost non-existent. Meanwhile, the customer kept calling and blaming our outlet, which directly affects our business reputation even though the issue was completely platform-side.
This is not how restaurant partners or customers should be treated.
A food delivery platform must have:
• Proper delivery management
• Active support system
• Easy cancellation during emergencies
• Accountability towards restaurant partners
Today’s experience was completely unacceptable.
