🛒 Ingredients (सामग्री)
Split Black Gram with skin (उड़द दाल) - 1 Cup
Desi Ghee (शुद्ध देसी घी) - 2 to 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp for tadka
Mustard seeds / Jakhiya (राई/जखिया) - 1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing (हींग) - $\frac{1}{4}$ tsp + a pinch for tadka
Cumin seeds (साबुत जीरा) - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds (साबुत धनिया) - 1 tbsp
Ginger (अदरक) - 1 inch piece
Green chilies (हरी मिर्च) - 2 to 3 (crushed)
Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर) - $\frac{1}{2}$ tsp
Salt (नमक) - To taste
Whole Dry Red Chilies (सूखी लाल मिर्च) - 2
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - $\frac{1}{2}$ tsp
Boiling Hot Water (गर्म पानी) - 3 to 4 Cups
Fresh Coriander (हरा धनिया) - Finely chopped
