Ingredients
For Aloo paratha recipe
- wheat flour
- potatoes
- all Indian spices
- oil or ghee to fry the paratha
- salt to taste
- for green chutney
- coriander leaves
- garlic cloves
- grated coconut
- green chili
- Chaat masala
- salt
For Vegetable upma
- Rava
- vegetables of your choice
- oil for frying vegetables
- salt to taste
Process to make aloo paratha
- boil some Potatoes and pile them once cool and mash them thoroughly.
- add all the spices of your choice in the mashed potatoes along with salt and mix it well until well combined
- Now knead a soft dough with some wheat flour, oil and salt and rest it for 15 mins
- once ready make balls of the potato mixture and the dough.
- fill the dough balls with aloo mixture and roll it into a roti gently.
- now heat up a pan and fry the paratha in oil, ghee or butter until it is golden crispy fried.
- for chutney take a mixture grinder the above given ingredients along with some water.
Process to make upma
- chop all the vegetables of your choice into small pieces.
- heat up some oil and fry all the veggies by adding only salt in it.
- then add the rava in the fried veggies and mix it well.
- now add a double quantity of boiling water in the rava and cover it and cook it for 5 mins on low flame.
- Upma will be ready to serve.
