SAGA Design Architects Leveraging the power of design to transform lives.

The idea was simple, create a home that feels comfortable without constantly fighting the climate.
The materials, openings, brick walls and terracotta jalis all work together to manage heat, sunlight and ventilation naturally.
Even the movement of the sun becomes part of the design.

A thoughtful approach where comfort comes from the way the house is designed, not just from what we add to it.

The master bedroom is planned as a dialogue between two openings, an expansive bay window on one side and a balcony on the other, allowing air to move naturally through the space and creating a sense of continuous connection with the outdoors.

The bay window frames an endless green view, while the balcony draws in light, breeze and landscape from the opposite side. Positioned between them, the dresser and bathroom becomes part of this spatial flow rather than a barrier.

Exposed brick, warm timber and natural stone add a grounded materiality to the room, while the planning keeps it light, airy and connected to its surroundings.

Split Haus is conceived as an interplay of volumes, separate in form, yet connected through the spaces between them.

The planning allows living, dining, circulation and landscape to flow into one another, creating visual and physical connections across levels. Double-height volumes and the open staircase become moments of interaction, allowing the house to be experienced as one continuous space.

Large openings blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, bringing light, air and greenery deep into the home.

Exposed brick brings warmth, stone grounds the space, and timber adds a quiet sense of familiarity. The rawness of the materials is softened by tactile fabrics, curated objects and layers of greenery, creating a space that feels collected rather than constructed.

The bedroom is designed as a quiet retreat, grounded by the rawness of exposed brick and softened by warm timber. Large openings dissolve the boundary between inside and out, bringing the garden, light and breeze into the room. A space that feels rooted, yet completely open to its surroundings.

A building is remembered not only for its form, but for the materials that give it identity.

Each selection is made with purpose, balancing durability, craftsmanship, and context. Together, these materials create a language that defines the architecture and enriches the experience of the spaces within.

Architecture is a sequence of intentional decisions, where every line has a reason and every split has a purpose.

Every shift in the volume defines an experience. Every void strengthens connection. Every roof responds to the land, light, and climate.

Split Haus is the story of separation transformed into architecture, and connection transformed into home.

Every home begins with an idea, but the most memorable ones begin with a purpose. ✨

The vision behind Split Haus was to create a home that feels open, connected, and in harmony with its surroundings. Every design decision was made to balance natural light, ventilation, functionality, and use materials that gain character over time.

This is more than architecture, it’s thoughtful living, designed with intention.
