We recently stayed at this beautiful heritage hotel in Bikaner —
once a haveli, now thoughtfully recreated into a living, breathing space.
What stayed with me wasn’t just the grandeur, but the details.
The arched windows, the delicate jaali work, the mirror detailing on the curved walls, the vintage lampposts — each element quietly holds the past while welcoming the present.
The furniture stays light and honest.
The patterned stone flooring grounds the space.
Nothing screams for attention — everything belongs.
This is what I believe good design does.
It doesn’t overwrite history.
It listens to it, respects it, and carries it forward.
✨ Would you preserve heritage as it is,
or reinterpret it for modern living?
