2 cups idli batter (fermented)

1 cup grated carrot

1 tsp ginger (finely grated)

1 green chili (optional, finely chopped)

1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)

👩‍🍳 Ingredients

1 cup rice

½ cup quinoa

¼ cup urad dal (split black gram)

1 tsp methi seeds (fenugreek)

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking

📝 Preparation
1️⃣ Wash and soak rice, quinoa, urad dal & methi seeds for 5–6 hours.
2️⃣ Grind into a smooth batter, add salt, and let it ferment overnight (8–10 hours).
3️⃣ Heat a pan, grease lightly with oil.
4️⃣ Pour a ladle of batter (thicker than dosa), cover with a lid, and cook on low flame till golden and fluffy.
5️⃣ Flip if needed and cook the other side too.

Say hello to a new twist on burgers — Samak Rice Thatte Idli Burger — the perfect fusion of South Indian flavors and street food vibes!

Here’s how to make it:

For the Idli:

Soak 3 cups of rice, 1 cup urad dhuli dal, and 1 tsp methi dana for 5 hours.

Grind it to a smooth batter and let it ferment for 10–15 hours.

Divide the batter into 2 parts — add beetroot juice to one half and spinach puree to the other for that gorgeous color!

Grease your idli mould, pour the batter, and steam for 10–15 minutes. Let them cool.

For the Tikki:

Mix 2 boiled & mashed potatoes, ½ cup soaked sabudana, 1 cup chopped veggies (like carrots, capsicum, coriander), and spices (salt, chili, garam masala, chaat masala).

Shape into medium-sized tikkis and pan-fry until golden on both sides.

Assemble Your Burger:

Place the tikki between two colorful idlis.

🥔 Ingredients:
✔️ 1 cup rava (semolina)
✔️ ½ cup grated pumpkin
✔️ 1 tsp ginger-green chili paste
✔️ Salt to taste
✔️ Water as needed

🔥 For Thecha Stuffing:
✔️ 2-3 green chilies
✔️ 4-5 garlic cloves
✔️ 1 tbsp roasted peanuts
✔️ Salt to taste

🍽️ How to Make:
1️⃣ Sauté green chilies & garlic, then grind with peanuts & salt for the stuffing.
2️⃣ Dry roast rava, then mix with pumpkin, ginger-chili paste, and salt. Add hot water and Knead into a dough.
