In this video, we will see how to make Milk Soji Halwa. Soft, glossy Milk Soji Halwa (Milk Rava Kesari) made with milk, roasted rava, sugar, ghee, and cardamom. This easy halwa recipe is perfect for festivals, pooja, pongal, Diwali, Newyear and special occasions. Try this traditional Tamil sweet that melts in your mouth—simple ingredients, rich taste, and quick to make! 😋✨

Ingredients:
Roasted rava - 100g
Milk - 200 ml
Ghee - 4tsp
Sugar - 100g
Nuts (as required)
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp

Quick recipe:
🍨 Take 100g roasted rava in a bowl
🍨 Pour 200ml milk in to it and allow to soak for 10 minutes
🍨 In a pan, add some ghee and roast some nuts (cashew, almond )
🍨 In the same pan, add ghee and 50g sugar and allow it to melt and caramelise slightly
🍨 Then add the soaked roasted rava and 100ml hot water and remaining sugar in to it and mix it well and allow to cook until it becomes thick and glossy
🍨 Then add cardamom powder and the roasted nuts on top of it and mix well and tasty Milk Soji Halwa is ready

Ingredients:
Yellow pumpkin - 200 gm
Carrot - 2
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Bay leaves - 2
Garlic cloves - 8
Pepper - 6
Jeera- 1 tsp
Oil- 1 tsp
Butter - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Pumpkin seeds - 2 tsp (optional)
Fresh cream - 2 tsp (optional)

Quick Recipe:
🎃 Remove the pumpkin skin and seeds, clean it and cut it into small pieces
🎃 In a cooker, add oil, bay leaves, onion and saute it, then add carrot, tomato, pumpkin,4 garlic cloves, black pepper, jeera, water and salt and cook for 2 whistle and allow it to cool
🎃 In a mixer jar, add all the cooked mixture and grind smoothly and filter it
🎃 Add required water for soup consistency
🎃 In a small pan, add butter, sliced garlic and pinch of chilli powder and saute it well and then add it into the soup
🎃 Finally add pumpkin seeds, fresh cream and coriander leaves for the richness of the soup and its ready
