Yesterday we opened the glaze kiln from last week and there were so many nice pots in it from the On Centre students! Great glazing and great firing! And the next round of pieces are already back in the kiln - we don't get bored for sure. See the next photo for the newest load of pots.

Here are some surface ideas from me- some of my favourite ways to decorate pots using the standard glazes at La Meridiana. Any glaze combinations that you recognize from your time here? For non-pottery nerds: these are little cups for tea - work independently whether you care about the name of the glazes or not 😂

An absolutely needed still moment in the empty studio. A bit of time to look at what I made last year. Sorting through ideas and tests, things I liked and things I didn't. Discovering small variations.

Soon the next course starts and my focus will go to somewhere else for a few more months, but I feel (very very quietly, if I close my eyes and concentrate) that I know again a bit more about where I am going.

Luckily, it was also a sunny day and I made some photos so I can show a few pots that I like.
