The APPARATUS showroom in New York City is one of those places where every room feels cinematic, emotional, and completely unexpected.

One of my favorite stories about the showroom is the inspiration behind this incredible red foyer. During the renovation, the founder and creative force behind APPARATUS had found love again, and chose to express that moment by enveloping the space in red.

Suddenly, the room becomes so much more than a dramatic design statement. It becomes a story about passion, transformation, and a new chapter in someone’s life.

And that emotional connection is what makes APPARATUS so special to me. Their work goes far beyond lighting. Every piece feels sculptural and meticulously crafted, combining beautiful materials, incredible workmanship, and an artistic point of view that is completely their own.

You notice the details, the metals, the glass, the proportions, the finishes, but you also notice how the pieces make you feel.

For me, that is what great design should do. It should be beautiful, yes, but it should also tell a story.

And in this room, that story happens to be about love. ❤️
