Interi Fragment Creations are 16th-18th century fragments, usually church fragmented objects that have fallen into disuse. The combination of beautifully carved articles of worship with fossil shells, polished agate coral, minerals and precious gems, usually in their matrix form, brings into existence a contemporary work of old and new. Interpreting the past to create a piece entirely original evolving in its own right- Interi™.

Interi’s interview for TV for the “Forme dello Spirito” exhibition with Societa delle Belle Arti Circolo degli Artisti - Casa Di Dante.

Through my work, I collect, preserve, and transform 17th century to 18th century Italian fragment artifacts that have been distressed, broken, or gone “beyond restoration” and transformed them into works of art with artistic methods and rare natural specimens. My desire is for my art to show that nothing and no one is beyond restoration but can be made even more beautiful than before. Interi means “whole” in Italian - by adorning each broken aspect of a piece with the precious gems and minerals, I am making a piece whole again, hence the name, “Interi.” 🤍

Interi featured in “Arte in Divenire”

The book is published by Società delle Belle Arti – Circolo degli Artisti “Casa di Dante” and is dedicated to celebrating the beauty and showcasing the artistic heritage of the organization.

This book, titled “Arte in Divenire” (Art in the Making), represents an open dialogue between past and present—an intertwining of memories and contemporary visions that tell the story and evolution of the organization. I am honored to be included in the book and very excited to be presenting an exhibition with Casa di Dante opening this Saturday. Stay tuned for more updates. 🤍

Interi will soon be exhibiting with Museo Casa di Dante for the exhibition “Forme dello Spirito: Sentieri del Trascendente” opening October 10th in Florence, Italy.

The exhibition is hosted by Società delle Belle Arti Circolo degli Artisti - Casa di Dante

Founded in 1843, the Società delle Belle Arti serves as a vital hub for cultural exchange among artists in Florence. It aims to uphold artistic values ​​through a dynamic schedule of exhibitions and cultural events and remains committed to preserving its rich heritage and balancing this with a deep appreciation for the aesthetic, historical, and environmental values ​​inherent in artistic practice. Interi is honored to be a part of this historical and prestigious organization.

The exhibition will be held at Museo Casa di Dante, a museum that honors the history and life of Dante Alighieri. It was formerly the famous Italian poet’s home and is now committed to sharing Dante’s literary work and important works of art.
