Within the immersive setting of Nilufar Grand Hotel during Milan Design Week 2026, cc-tapis contributes to the exhibition’s hospitality-inspired atmosphere through a series of custom rugs conceived in dialogue with the scenographic interiors of the fictional hotel. Texture, craftsmanship, and materiality unfold across the space, shaping a layered and collectible design experience.

Among the pieces, a site-specific tufted carpet designed for the hall and lounge introduces a tactile presence that connects the different environments, reinforcing the project’s curatorial narrative through softness, rhythm, and atmosphere.

Marcello Maranzancc-tapis x SUNNEI

During Milan Fashion Week 2024, our headquarters transformed into a site-specific installation for SUNNEI, hosting the runway within a custom-made textile landscape.

The rugs were produced in our Milan Hub using our advanced robot-tufting system, a technology that expands the possibilities of traditional tufting. By maneuvering a wide range of yarns and allowing complete freedom in shapes and tufting directions, the machine enables bespoke solutions without constraints.

Developed for exhibitions, installations, museums, and fashion shows, our robot-tufting facility combines efficiency and flexibility, pushing the boundaries of rug-making into new spatial and creative dimensions.

cc-tapis PROJECT x Casa Italia in London, by Nick Vinson

Interior designer Nick Vinson led the creation of Casa Italia, the new Italian institutional hub at Buckingham Gate, just steps from Buckingham Palace. Set within a Victorian building spanning nearly 2,000 sqm, the project marks a milestone for Italy’s presence in London—bringing together efficiency, sustainability, and cultural identity under one roof. From autumn 2025, Casa Italia will welcome more than 80 officials from the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute, and Italian Trade Agency, alongside an ever-changing community of international stakeholders from the worlds of culture, business, academia and beyond.

cc-tapis created a series of bespoke hand-tufted rugs for the project, designed by Nick Vinson to anchor the interiors in a rich dialogue of Italian heritage. Referencing some of Italy’s most iconic floors—from Villa Borsani and the Baths of Caracalla to Palazzo della Pilotta and Carlo Scarpa’s Olivetti showroom—the designs reinterpret historic architectural motifs into soft, contemporary surfaces.

c-tapis PROJECT x Abstract Notes at TivoliVredenburg

For the renewed foyers surrounding the Great Hall of TivoliVredenburg, cc-tapis collaborated with Mae Engelgeer to create bespoke textile elements forming part of Abstract Notes — a striking two-storey, 600 m² installation within the broader renovation led by deMunnik-deJong-Steinhauser.

Crafted with colour, texture and transparency, these pieces echo Herman Hertzberger’s architecture and contribute to a cohesive visual rhythm throughout the space.
