Nur - Nuria du Chêne Nur was created by Nuria du Chêne de Vère's dream to turn two everyday objects - a diffuser and a candle - into activators of sensory perceptions.

Home fragrances' choice is dictated by an inspiration, a memory and the desire to create atmospheres: "Composing home fragrances makes me feel free; I like the idea that my perfumes can furnish, give a soul to a room " Nuria says. Mas Vidal is where I grew up. The garden, the plants, the smell of the air in the evening, everything I know about scent begins here.

When we celebrated here, I wanted the space itself to carry that memory. I poured scented wax into ceramic bowls I had made as a child with my siblings, scented with “Mas Vidal”: the fragrance I composed at the perfumery academy in Grasse to hold everything this place means to me.

I placed small jars of wild fennel gathered from the estate along the table and a collection of hats hanging from jute ropes, an essential little detail for these long, sun-drenched summer days.

Fragrance is a language, and like any language, it has its own etiquette.

Worn well, it draws people closer rather than announcing itself from across the room. It adapts to context, to the people around us, to the space we’re sharing. A few small habits make the difference between a scent that lingers as a pleasant memory and one that overwhelms.

Siesta nasce da un ricordo preciso: un'amaca sotto un fico gigante, a casa dei miei nonni in Spagna.

Me la immagino ancora: sdraiata, gli occhi persi tra le foglie verdi sopra di me, la mano che sfiora l'erba e la terra umida mentre mi dondolo. Il calore del pomeriggio, l'ombra fatta di verde, il profumo del caffè che arriva dal tavolo vicino.

Nel profumo, la foglia di fico è la nota dominante: verde, quasi lattiginosa, con tutta la frescura di quella luce filtrata. Poi la terra bagnata, l'erba, le radici. Il vetiver porta calore e morbidezza. Il caffè bilancia tutto, come fa sempre dopo pranzo.

Una siesta non è solo riposo. È un momento sospeso in cui tutti i sensi rallentano insieme.

This one was about return.

Mas Vidal, in the Empordà, is where Nuria’s olfactory memory began. Long before NUR, long before Grasse.

Bringing the team here was the natural starting point: to understand the brand, you have to understand the story underneath it.
The first NUR journey could only begin where everything else did.
