The beauty of Fantini Mosaici Venetian , speckled with Orinoco Grey, Light Bottoncino and Occiolino , is shown to full stunning effect by a dramatic, sculptural staircase. Our floors enhance the refinement of the new Presidency Offices of RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. – Corriere della Sera, designed by De.Tales ().

Spanning 400 square metres, this project marks the reopening of the historic Palazzina Feltrinelli, adjacent to the historic Palazzo Beltrami in Brera, the prestigious Design District of Milan, and pays tribute to its architectural .

The best of in the heart of Milan. For the new Presidency Offices of RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. – Corriere della Sera, Fantini Mosaici Venetian floors, speckled with exquisite , contrasting elegantly with warm oak bosierie from Poliform ().

Expertly laid throughout the stairs and corridors, across two levels of the offices, our contribute to the elegance of the offices while respecting the of the historic Palazzina Feltrinelli on Via Solferino in Brera, the prestigious Design District of Milan.

Where the journey begins: Our Milan workshop

Take a look behind the scenes at the making of the Casa Italia floor. This project utilizes our signature flamed mosaic technique, where marble tesserae are expertly oriented to create an organic, undulating flow reminiscent of moving flames.

While traditional flamed mosaics typically use regular tesserae, the work for Casa Italia goes a step beyond. In this intricate masterpiece:

Every single piece is unique: No two fragments are the same.

Hand-Cut Precision: Each marble element was cut by hand by our skilled artisans.

Millimetre Accuracy: Every fragment was hand-laid with absolute precision to create the vigorous swirls and gentle curves that define the pattern.

From pale pinks to deep, vivid reds, these workshop moments capture the dedication required to transform raw Italian marble into a chromatic journey. It is here that historic significance, outstanding craftsmanship, and contemporary design truly meet.

Capturing the artistry of Casa Italia in London

The heart of the new Italian Chancery features a floor that is more than a surface—it is a journey.

Designed by and handcrafted by our artisans, the project began with an immersion into the Fantini Mosaici historical archives. This vision was then refined by our Design Office to translate every decorative detail into a living floor pattern.

The Craftsmanship:

Material: Exclusively Italian marble, hand-cut in Milan and hand-laid on-site.

Technique: The "flamed" mosaic technique—where marble tesserae are expertly oriented to create an organic, undulating flow reminiscent of moving flames.

The Palette: Earthy yet bold shades, ranging from pale pinks to deep, vivid reds, creating a warm and sophisticated "chromatic journey."

Under the direction of and in collaboration with Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin of , the design was conceived to gently ‘accompany’ visitors through the spaces of Casa Italia. It is a true celebration of mid-century spirit met with contemporary Italian excellence.
