The Art of Calcedonio
One of Murano glassmaking’s most fascinating and complex techniques.
Calcedonio is known for its extraordinary layers of colour: deep blues, turquoise, amber, violet and warm golden tones flowing together like waves, minerals and natural landscapes.
During the glassmaking process, different mineral oxides interact with the molten glass, creating unpredictable shades and patterns. The result can never be exactly repeated, making every sculpture truly one of a kind.
A technique where fire, colour and craftsmanship come together, transforming glass into something that almost feels alive.
Handcrafted in Murano, Venice.
