Lien & Enrico, a Belgian-Italian couple, both working for an international medical humanitarian organization. When not on missions abroad, we love to host dinners at home for friends and family. It’s from this simple joy that our cooking experience was born. We wanted to create something personal: a way to welcome and meet people from all over the world, share our love for good food, wine, and hospitality, and give a real taste of Italian life. We’re not running a business; we’re opening our home. If you’re looking for something real, simple, and full of heart, you’re in the right place.

Wondering what our experience will be like? We’ll welcome you at 4 pm (sometimes at 10 am) in our home, located in the heart of Verona, just a short stroll from the Arena. In a small group of up to eight, we’ll start the evening with a Spritz Aperol and get to know each other. Then, we’ll hand you your apron, cooking knife, cutting board, and ingredients and we’re off!

First, we’ll prepare a delicious, classic Italian tiramisu, letting it chill while we get ready for the main event: making your own pasta! You’ll learn how to roll and cut two types of pasta by hand, and we’ll teach you how to pair each of them with the perfect sauce.

All of our recipes come straight from Enrico’s grandmother, and we keep things simple. No fancy cooking tools needed, so you can recreate everything at home! Also, no need to worry about taking notes; we’ll send you all the recipes by email immediately after the experience.

Our concept isn’t just about learning to cook. It’s about experiencing the Italian way of life: cooking, tasting, sharing, and connecting with others. Besides cooking, you’ll enjoy regional aperitivo bites, sip on sparkling wine, and after all the hard work, we’ll gather on our terrace to enjoy the food we’ve made together. All dishes are paired with some amazing local wines, carefully selected by Enrico, who’s a certified sommelier.

Yesterday’s cooking class was all about…
Mixing simple ingredients, rolling out the dough, and shaping pasta to perfection!

We had the pleasure of welcoming three lovely groups into our home: a beautiful mix of Australians, Romanians, and English. The vibe was incredible, and seeing children from different countries playing together made it even more special. 🥰

Why don’t we open our cooking classes every single day?

Because for us, Cooking experience Verona is not a business. It’s our home, our free time, our passion, and our way to connect with people from all over the world. 🌍

We choose to host only 2-3 workshops per week, so we can truly enjoy the evening, welcome you into our home and kitchen, and make every class feel special. 💛

And that’s what we love most: seeing people from different countries, cultures, and stories all cooking together! It creates such a unique energy!
