Tunnel Vision (acrylic on canvas) 100x120 cm
At first, it feels peaceful, just a quiet sea stretching into the horizon, soft clouds resting in the sky. The kind of scene that lets you breathe for a second. But then something feels… off.
There are these layered rectangles cutting through the view, each one holding the same ocean, but slightly different. They don’t quite match. They shift, repeat, and distort what you’re seeing, like you’re looking at the world through overlapping thoughts instead of clear vision.
It starts to feel familiar…like how we all see things in our own way. Each frame becomes a perspective, a belief, a version of truth that feels complete when you’re inside it… but from the outside, you realize it’s only a small piece.
The ocean sits behind all of this, calm on the surface, but carrying something deeper, heavier, more complex underneath. It doesn’t change, even when the frames do. It just exists, quietly reminding you that there’s always more than what you can see.
“Tunnel Vision” feels like that moment when you think your perception of the truth or story is the only perception.. a tunnel vision of the truth.
