We just received some gorgeous news, we are finalists at the GALA awards, both in Small Business, and Eve for Ally of the Year category. We are absolutely thrilled!

Ensuring the standard of our commitment to the community never waivers, while balancing full time roles and PhDs, our passion for the safety of the community drives us every day.

We’ve had the honour of training thousands of people across hundreds of companies since we started, streaming our workshops in different languages, travelling 8+ hours to both rural locations and internationally, because we believe everyone deserves the best chance at education.

Getting this far is an achievement in itself, and we’re so grateful to those who nominated us, and the judges who are working at the heart of our community.

My name is CJ Hartigan and I am a project manager on the Culture & Engagement team. I’ve been with the business since 2017 so I’m approaching ten years at the company and since I started, I’ve spent time across a number of different I.T. roles, and since 2024 made the jump into HR.

In my role I lead several employee engagement and wellness initiatives. As part of this, I drive the topic of Diversity, Equity & Belonging and work closely with our Employee Resource groups to enable them to raise awareness, enact change, and positively influence our culture as a business!

Introducing our next speaker, from our longest standing education partner:

✨Adriane Drew✨

I am the Head of Environmental Health & Safety for Lidl Ireland & North of Ireland, responsible for the safety of more than 7,000 employees across our stores, warehouses, and Head Office. I have been with the company for 17 years, gaining experience in various departments, including Purchasing and Administration, before stepping into my current role.

I joined the Lidl ERG as an ally in 2023. Since then, I have organised Drag Queen Bingo events and collaborated with our Non-Food Buyers to introduce the first Pride products to all Lidl stores last year, which involved product selection and sourcing charity partners. I also organise our annual Pride Brunch and support guest speaker events in close coordination with our Sports & Social team.

Introducing our first panellist for the Certified Proud Awards🥁



In May 2015, Ireland made history as the first country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote. But for LGBTQ+ parents like Ranae von Meding, the journey didn’t end there. A decade later, Ranae stands at the heart of another kind of love story - one rooted in parenting, visibility, and fierce advocacy. From being denied legal recognition as a mother to becoming one of the loudest voices for family equality, Ranae has helped reshape the national conversation on what it means to be a parent in modern Ireland. Now the co-founder and CEO of Equality for Children, Ranae continues to advocate for equal rights for all children born to LGBTQ+ parents in Ireland. She lives in Dublin with her wife Audrey, and their three young children.

We’re honoured to confirm four winners of the Certified Proud Fund:


***rasianpride.ie ie


Every year the team reads hundreds of applications to the fund, and our goal is to have the most impact across a wide variety of areas. This year we’re supporting LGBTQ+ in rural areas, q***r events that celebrate the Asian community, establishing best practice in trans healthcare, and a rugby team that is both safe and celebrates the community.

Over the coming days we will be spotlighting each winner and the remarkable work that they do.
