This is a massive Siberian woolly mammoth tusk (Mammuthus primigenius) in an immaculate condition. This tusk was recovered from the Siberian permafrost in 2018. This tusk is thick and long for its beautiful curvature and light colour palette.
The colour of the bark is a magnificent mix of dark-beige which gradually transforms into beige and then to brown towards the tip.
The custom-made stainless steel stand is included.
Weight: 76.40 kg | 168.43 lb.
Length: 315 cm | 124 in.
Max diameter: 16.5 cm | 6.50 in.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
This mammoth tusk is presented in its natural condition – it is not stabilised and / or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised unless explicitly stated.
