ONGOING PROJECT AT BROOK CENTRE 💛

SMILE KIASI is currently running a 6-month vocational training program at Brook Centre, supporting orphaned children living with disabilities with practical skills that can help them become more independent and sustain themselves in the future.

The program started in August 2026, and we are currently in our second month, with 4 more months to go. 🌱

We are also using recyclable materials in our training, creating opportunities for the children while contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment. ♻️🌍

After the first 3 months, we will host an exhibition to showcase the amazing work the children have been creating and the skills they have developed. 🎨✨

We welcome sponsors and well-wishers who would like to support this journey through:

A beautiful morning at Zambezi Cabin Resort, starting the day with simple acts of care.We spent 2 incredible days on retreat, focusing on what truly connects us. Waking everyone up in their tents and handing out fresh soap was a small, physical reminder of a bigger truth: we need to take care of one another.Mental health matters. Su***de prevention is a conversation that we all need to have. By creating spaces like this, we are breaking the stigma one conversation, one check-in, and one morning at a time.Thank you to everyone who showed up, opened up, and chose to be part of this vital conversation

Even when you are carrying your own heavy storms, your empathy has the power to be someone else’s lifeline.

During Su***de Prevention Month, we often talk about looking out for one another. But some of the most profound support comes from those who already understand what the darkness feels like. If you are going through a difficult time right now, remember that your lived experience, your deep capacity for empathy, and your willingness to listen can be exactly what saves another person's life.

By standing together and sharing our struggles, we prove that no one has to walk through the dark alone

When you feel low and can't talk to anyone probably due to stigma, feeling unloved, or second guessing your existence just run to God. There is something about prayer. It's spiritual, yes, but there is that kafeeling once you are done; you feel so refreshed. It might not happen immediately, but you just have to trust, believe, and know that you are not alone and you matter.

Our retreat on 5and 6th retreat is just the place to be as we unwind and have a conversation among ourselves what is the best approach in dealing with suicidal thoughts and so much more.
