bol_gallery BOL Gallery warmly invites you to The Density of Days, a solo exhibition by Sui Park.

Through the repeated layering and burnishing of lacquer, earth, fabric, and wood, Sui Park reveals traces of time and memory embedded within matter itself. Her works unfold through processes of accumulation, erosion, generation, and dissolution — forming contemplative landscapes that evoke nature, the cosmos, and the quiet rhythms of passing time.

Meditative and deeply tactile, The Density of Days invites viewers into a space shaped by repetition, materiality, and reflection.

Each piece in this series is created through multiple layers of ottchil (traditional Korean lacquer), and the Forest series, in particular, invites you to embrace it as a singular, complete work. Take your time to immerse yourself in the profound story contained within each piece.

In the works of artist park sui, the delicate textures of ottchil harmonize with mother-of-pearl, which appears as though scattering seeds, forming a natural and exquisite balance.
