Delicatessen was and still is a reference point in decoration and service here in Avila.
Café Theater Delicatessen is rooted in the 70’s. In the main entrance we can find a living room hanging upside down on the ceiling, with furniture from the 70’s which can be seen from the street, and that is why it invites you to enter and enjoy it. Afterwards you can see a photocall area which is in constant changing.

In the interior we can see a street with different house and shop facades from that time. Besides, we can see half of a car coming out of the garage, a sculpture, a tree, street lights, etc. In one of these facades we can find the entrance into the restaurant, which is decorated as a typical shop from the 70’s (we constantly change details like: groceries, toys, dolls, collectables, antiques, etc.). It has a methacrylic ceiling with a mirror

which multiplies the height sensation and it reflects parts of the bar in it.

It’s a small establishment, covering 17 square meters, which we converted in a shop to sale children’s clothes. Due to numerous objects we made a really good use of space to facilitate more storage place and gave a use to all possible areas.

We managed to integrate furniture and decoration in just one use:

• We made big drywall letters (shop name) which are used as shelves and clothes hangers.
• We designed the shop window and underneath it, we designed a wardrobe which was used as storage place. We decided to put one more above the bathroom’s door.
• We designed a counter made of drywall which suits perfectly in.
• There is a general lighting and decorative LED (one), which changes colors. This gives to the shop a continuous change in appearance, which is the key to draw attention from the outside.
• We put white laminated wood plates on the floor.
• We glazed many decorative parts of the shop.
• We restored the facade (the door, the exterior shop window) eliminating some elements and adding new ones.
• We manufactured and put a wooden lettering on.
• We installed a costumed awning.
• We designed the corporate image.

Our client asked us to create a main comfortable area for food preparation, to eat, to serve, to have dinner and make conversations at any time.

We divided the space into two parts; the kitchen part and the meeting part. The prearrangement of lighting and plumbing was done first and then we started with the construction of the future functional elements.

The client wanted a small area for refreshment. We built a small swimming pool for two people made of bricks and PVC. It has two interior quilted seats and LED lightning thought to create a different night atmosphere. Next to it we put artificial turf for sunbathing and drying. The shower was also provided in case of just quick refreshing. Wooden lattices and natural plants were put all around the terrace.

The client wanted to cook and keep drinks and food in good condition. He also wanted to have the kitchen closed in winter. We put a tile roof on the iron structure in case of rain and possible closure in winter.
We costume designed a furniture inside the beam with doors, drawers and tile finishing. We installed the lighting, draining, tap fittings, sink and a cold store.

Special clothe cushions were designed for the outdoors. Below the seats a special place was designed to put cushions inside in winter.

A structure in form of bush was designed, which serves as a separation between the kitchen and the dining room.
Restructuring of useless terraces converting them into relaxing and joyful areas:

- New lighting installation
